  If you are ever contacted by any outside party attempting to connect to your Withum laptop in any manner for any reason, please do not let them do so or give them any information. Only the Withum IT Team should be connecting to your Withum laptop for any reason. 3rd party agents who gain access to your PC can cause significant damage to our clients and our reputations.
  
  
  Be aware! If it doesn't look or sound legitimate, reach out to IT immediately!
• To address security concerns regarding the Firm's data and intellectual property, effective immediately[/i], we will be restricting the ability to write or copy data to any USB removable media on all Withum computers. This includes USB thumb drives, external hard drives, mobile device storage, and similar devices.
  
  Reading data from these drives will still be permitted.
  
  If you have a legitimate business need to transfer files to a USB drive, please contact the Helpdesk with a written business case detailing your needs. Your request will be evaluated by IT Leadership to determine its necessity.
